i have a chance to buy the entire bottom end (all accessory parts and everything) of a b16 for 275-300 bucks.. the problem with it is it has a spun crank bearing... is it worth the money? if so, how would i go about fixing it the cheapest way? thanks.

yeah i'd say no too, just because you couls easily and cheaply find a b18a/b block in working condition for maybe 100 or so more...

 

See if you can talk him down to 200.

FYI - The B16 head is what most people want.

yeah i didnt think so.. im ont too much into the twin cams... im just looking for a swap, maybe buy it in pieces if i can find stuff for cheap.. thanks tho.. this kid is known for rippin people off too.

i think i'll just save up 800 and i can prolly find a junkyard somewhere in this half of the state to give me almost a complete b18 swap for that....theres alot of small junk yards around here that dont know what that stuff is truely worth.... thanks!
