if i put in some sk2stg1or2 cams will i be able to pass smog? how about ctr cams?

 

CTR cams should pass just fine. I don't know about the Skunk 2's. Just remember, more overlap = more unburned fuel gets sucked out the exhaust during the intake stroke. This means higher HC levels at lower engine speeds. You probably won't pass the 15mph test if you just drop them in, but some cam gear tuning and a new FACTORY cat should get you to pass.

I have a GUDE cam in my D16Z6 civic, and I barely sweak by everytime, but I pass.
