tranny troubles that won't quit!!! 92 Accord LX Automatic
my 92 Accord with 118k miles, have replaced all motor mounts, flushed tranny oil, several times, added an additive ( forget product name) to tranny that someone said would help it shift smoother, and it did. replaced tranny computer. This is a used tranny already, original one blew out revearse. I need my head examined.
Problems that I have:
Shifting hard going into fourth gear.
When applying gas at 70 mph, motor revs about 400 RPM then drops, car speeds up slowly.
It points to a tranny doesn't it?
Where is a good place to get one, and any idea of a fair price.
thanks in advance

Normal Condition if I understand what you're talking about. That's the Lock-up Converter disengaging (400rpm jump) and then reapplying.
The harsh shift may be a problem with one of the shift solenoids (#5, #8 in illustration)
