Crack in OEM Header
I have about a 2-3 inch crack on the top of my header (looking straight down) Is their any adhesive, glue, cement, etc. that I could apply to it to seal the crack. I believe this is the cause of the wistling noise. Anyone have the same problem, How was it solved.
Im taking my car to the smog station will cracks in the header cause a Fail? Ive taken off all modifacations so the crack is the only thing that bugs me.
All suggestions accepted. Thanks guys.

Damn how did you crack an oem header? I always thought those things were indestructible. Anyways, I once had a crack on my dc header. And when smog time came, they didn't say anything. But it all depends on who does the test. After the test I took it to a muffler shop and had them weld shut the crack. I wonder if this is possible with an oem header.
the best fix would be a new header.
before i bought a new header i'd try to seal the crack with brazing rods and an oxyacetylene torch.
If it cracked again get another header.
