Default Shift Boot

Quick question-

Are the DC2 and DC5 Type-R shift boot the same thing. Are they the same pattern or completely different. Because when I looked closely it looks the same but I may be mistaken.

they are different...the dc5 boot has a much larger bottom, you probably could use a dc5 boot on a dc2 with some work, but i doubt a dc2 would work on a dc5

The stitching is slightly different between the two. The DC5 stitching is 'finer' than the DC2 one. Both completely mount differently as well. They have a different shape to them.

i think you can make it fit though because i made one from a dc2 fit on my em2. you just have to take off the metal mounting point and stretch it around because the dc5 shape is more round.
