Well, I had to change the distributor out after it was throwing a code 8... now I have a spare dizzy sitting around. Anyone know how to rebuild one of these things? It would be good to have in a bonus pile of parts that goes with the car when I sell it.

 

Have fun. I gave up after a few hours and bought an A1 Dizzy!

 

if you can find the parts to rebuild it is not that hard althogh you are gonna need special tools to get the sensors out of the dizzy

 

I rebuilt a b16 unit using a bearing found
at NAPA #6001-2ZJ and replaced it
based on instructions found here:

You will probably need tamper-free torx bits and
a small torch as the tiny bolts are loc-tited in
and break very easily..

 

Where do you even find the sensors and stuff for the ZC distributor? Is it Integra stuff?
