Default Supercharged motor header design

hey all, I have a D16 mini-me that i'm bolting a JRSC onto and planing on run boost in the 8-9psi range. I curentally have a Apex-i stainless 4-2-1 and I have a feeling that the primaries are going to be a bit too small for ~180whp. The Z6 head i'm running has the runners smoothed out and has a nice pocket port on it.

Now i'm planning on doing a homemade aquamist type system running probally a 70/30 mix of denatured alcohol to water and maybe a Comp Cams stage 2 cam down the road. I always see and hear about steping runner size and such but i'm just not sure what sizes to make everything.

I'm planning on making this header out of stainless steel and it will be welded with a MIG welder (smaller 220v miller... i forget the model). I was looking at doing a 4-2-1 design simallar to LoveFab's n/a design. Any help would be greatly appreaciated!

LoveFabs header... to get an idea of what i'm shooting for

practice makes perfect. Think about what you're doing. Plan it out. Execute. Boost.

moral of the story...turbo is better

i wouldn't mig weld it if I were you...Id tig it. but since you dont have a tig welder.... I would make it out of mild and then get it coated. biggest thing that makes people's fab work look like **** is when they are mating two pipes that dont go together PERFECTLY. like zero weld gap. If you can cut the header first without welding and get it to fit together perfectly...you've done the hardest part of the header. welding it up is like stapling your paper after you've written it.

thats true, i might just use the mig to tack it up then give it to a friend of mine and have him tig it all up. I have access to a band saw and a bench sander and stuff so if i take my time i can probally make it a gapless as possible
oh BTW earnie, i like the vid of you blowing your tranny... "And thats what happens when you race."
