type-r motor question
Hi my motor is dying right now i manage to bang up 90k on my b18b1 motor. And my question is this one guy I found on thepartstrader.com is selling his motor for 3g flat. I don't have to worry about shipping because he lives like 30 miles away. The engine was taken out of his 98 type-r that was rear ended. My question is how can I tell if the engine is still good? Compression test, leak down? O yeah the motor has like 32k on it, is this a good deal?
If the compression is there Id say get it...If the compression is not there
id say still get it..It shouldnt cost more than 500 or so to get the compression back up..and an R for under 4 g's is a very rare deal.Plus you know that accual milage
not like these JDM's that come over here claiming they only have 30 or so...(I find it hard to beileve)

The reason why I'm doing this is because i want to make a sleeper car. And that I've always wanted a type-r. I want to make my own version of a 4dr type-r. This swap comes with everything LSD, ECU everything should be plug and play. Correct me if i'm wrong.
sounds a bit shady to me. Do a compression test and check the VIN # to make sure it ain't stolen! Don't get shafted like that other guy did
