I my cel come on and to come to find it out was the egr which is k1491. Replaced the egr and cple days later the light came back on. What other issues could it be if i have this code?

 

P1491 EGR Valve Lift Insufficient Detected.
The EGR is controlled by two other components in the system:
1) EGR Control Solenoid Valve and
2) EGR Vacume Control Valve

One of them (or the hoses connecting them) is not allowing sufficient vacume to operate the EGR Valve.

He doesn't say what year it is so we dont know if the egr is vacuum or elecrtrically activated.
