a new bike in 2006 or a new 2006 model? I have not seen much to blow my skirt up as yet, sure a high reving 600 is cool, but... eh. I kinda like the limited r1 though

Good luck. Everyone in the southeast yamaha dealers has already been pre-bought. A good friend of mine is a mechanic who works at the yammy dealership. So yeah....if i had to decide on new 06's....

I'd go with the gix 06 750.

Well, I have to admit it seems nice, but not the bike for me personally. I do wanna see it in person, from the pics I was not impressed with build technique

Who cares about build or performance, I just think it looks sexy. People only buy bikes to look cool anyways, RIGHT?

How about he was saying...good luck getting one....I believe the original question was towards the new 06 gix 600 and R6. When you brought up the topic of getting the LE R1 it was completely off subject, the question wasn't what you like, it was what would you recommend him consider buying. Obviously if the bike is not available its not an option to recommend to him consider buying.

So when in essence you say you like the R1 LE, in his thread where he is asking for opinions in what you think he should MAYBE get...its like your suggesting that to him as an option....

As much as I love the new bikes I can't justify buying one.

My F4 still puts a smile on my face.

Not for me. I dont like the turn signal mirrors on the GSXR. Its not a tourer. And I dont want a bike built by a piano company

Both are a waste unless you go to the track.

There are much better street bikes to choose from.

Almost any ss is a waste if u put it that way. As for ergos.. if the suzuki is like it's bigger bro, it'll definitely be a very comfortable and low seat height sport bike option.

Each year they do become more and more of a waste for the street.

From the looks, specs, ride reviews and videos of the R6 I've seen it's a pure race bike with some street plastics slapped on. That's why they also released the R6S.

Not sure how the Suzuki is yet, I haven't sat on or or read any in depth first person reviews/rides.
