Default EP Seats in an EK

Anyone got some pics of seats from a 2001+ in an older civic?

I actually have a 2000 civic hatch so if you have any in that I would prefer that.

Also, anyones opinions on the EP seats? I have ridden in them a fair amount as my dad has a 2003 SI, I just want to hear anyone else opinion.

I am looking at getting my dad's seats into my EK when he gets new seats, coz he has money for seats and I do not
If I had the cash I would rather a set of Sparco's, or dare I wish and dream, a set of buddy clubs oooooooooaahaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

Oh and PIC from ebay coz noone reads an appearance thread without a pic.

They sit really high, so if your tall i would look into other options.

thats not his car, so what does it matter if it's clean or riced out or a DX or a Type R...? he was really right, no one reads the appearance thread without a pic, ill do the original poster one better and assert that no one READS the appearance thread at all. people look at pics, bam done. pretty sad.

Thanks, and yeah, umm not my car.

As if it actually matters but I have an SI cluster to go with my SI engine and various other SI parts

So basically everyone is saying that noone has any pics?

I have to agree, they do sit pretty high in the EP so I can only imagine how they site in the EK.

Personally I would like something smaller, width-wise, but you get what you can get for the money right.

seats are extremely comfortable IMO and look great.

i had a local welder modify my rails to bolt down in my EK and it turned out great.

i would've love to keep them but im in the process of gutting the car (drag car only) and leaving 1 no name bucket seat.

EP seats are extremely comfortable, look great, and provide adequate support but they do sit high, even in my EP I wish they were a tad lower although it is not enough to really bug me. (Im 6'0" btw) The height a pretty striking contrast though if you are comming out of daily driving a car that has del sol seats.

I have a friend with EP seats in his EJ and I'm not sure how he mounted them but I noticed that the driver's seat was not perfectly centered with the steering wheel. Now that would really bug me heh. Has anyone else seen this?

EP seats are extremely difficult to put in.. Believe me, I've looked into it. You basically have to custom make brackets for them to work. It works but, it looks a tad ghetto imo

Get some Usdm Itr seats instead, they look similar but the Itr's will bolt right in after you swap the rails which takes like 5 minutes

Hear hear! anyone else heard of or seen this issue? I will def not be installing seats if they do not centre up to the steering wheel.
call me ****, but it bugs me enough that the car is already aesymetrical in many aspects

Also, BUMP FOR PICS :D

Cheers for all the opinions mates

i have them in my 94 hatchback and they sit a bit high and they are like 2 inches off center from the steering wheel, i do not know about how they fit on your car though

as far as comfort, i find them to be better than the brides and recaros everyone fusses about, i can sleep cook live bang and die in these seats so comfortable

they also look really good with the suede and red stitching
