Hello how are you all doing? I write to you from the UK as i have a question for you all dc5 lovers. The K20A seems to be making a more than normal tapping sond from the fuel rail and sounds to me like it is coming from the dampener. i have replaced it but still the tapping ticking is there. Has anyone experianced this and if so has anyone found the cure as replacing the dampener doesnt seem to do the trick.

Well I have a slight tapping on mine as well and its nothing. I had it checked out and it just seems to be the belts or engine.

If you wish do a comp. test just to be on the safe side. I dought you are knocking unless you put low grade fuel in your car.

 

I have heard that many times the tapping sound come from the fuel injectors...
