Default Headlight buzzer?

Hey-
I know there is a way to do this, but right now I am way too hungover to think of how..It was my birthday : ). Anyways, could someone help me and figure out how to wire a buzzer so that it will ring when the car is off but headlights are on? Thanks...my dad wants me to do this to his EG civic cause he AWLAYS leaves his lights on.

get the buzzer from walmart or radio shack.. wire one wire to the windshield wiper fuse and the other wire to the headlight or parking light fuse.. that is all you need.. if you need help let me know..

Just a simple 12v buzzer? Why did you pick the windshiled fuse? My other friend told me to do it to the radio fuse. All i need is a wire that has power only when the car is off right? I may be getting confused in my own logic. Thanks again

ok ill try to explain.. you need one wire to get a 12v constant while the car is running and also a 12v switched when the car is off, two constants dont ground the buzzer.. but if you put one wire in a 12v constant and another that is switch w/ the ignition, the switched source will ground out when you remove the keys, there for making a complete circuit..

i know the windshield fuse and headlight works for a fact cause the windshield wipers will not work when the car is off.. as for radio i think it stays constant at the fuse box to keep the memory.. i could go out and check but too lazy now..

good luck getting it working if you havent already

I was contemplating doing this with my fog lights. How would I go about doing it? I have two wires going into my fog light switch...the red wire is the one that turns them on and off, and the blue wire is the one connected to the battery. Would it be possible for me to wire one of those buzzers into my fog lights? If so, how would I do it?
