I need to advertise my website for an upcomming show and I was thinking about doing something original. My friends over at Sticky Grafix in Montreal have the ability to print a photo onto vinyl. Basically instead of stripes or lines or whatever else you see today I could have a crazy pic of something on the side of my car. It would sure as hell draw attention.

The idea hit me of putting a pic of my car on the side of my car. Someone told me it would be like putting a tatoo of yourself on yourself lol. I don't know. If I saw a car with a graphic like that I'd stop and look at it for sure (and it takes alot to interest me). Is this a good idea or is it ghey as hell? If its not ghey which one would you choose?

 

It's your car and your prerogative, do as you like.

I would immediately skip the "graphic" option and just do "MONTREALRACING.com" all the way down the side of the car in vinyl.

Very eye catching, very clear, very easy to read even when the car is driving by.

I think your depiction would cause someone to say "what's that on the side of the car?" instead of remembering what it actually says.

if you're set on doing that, i say go with the motor shot

I had that last year. For sure it might do the job better but now I want something insane.

I say do it. If its for a show that would definitely work as far as advertising. If I saw that I would totally give the car a second look and its certainly memorable.

My quick effort with the new pic. Its hard to reproduce that effect they had on the first motor pic but I'll get it.

maybe you could get a picture of the picture on your car

if you're gonna do it, make it a print of a brick wall. then park next to a brick wall and ...well you see where im goign with it right?

but if you're gonna advertise....having a huge graphic on an ITR certainly would turn heads
