hello. . i am new to the forum so dont be mad cuz im a noob. i have a question about a new front bumper i just got. Its for a 91 crx but i have it on my 89. it fits ok but i just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on how to make it fit near perfect. do i have to buy a front reinforcement bar or any other parts from a 91 crx to make it fit perfect on my 89? any help is appreciated. thanks

 

Pics would help a lot. How does it not fit right? Does it sag like yo momma's *******?

While deviate did not reply with much tact, his questions still stand. What are the fitment issues? And if you want to not be given a hard time because you're a n00b, I suggest not drawing attention to yourself by posting hasty and combative responses.

On http://www.slhondaparts.com it shows that the two bumper reinforcements have slightly different part numbers. I've never tried to do what you're doing before, but fitment issues could be related to multiple things. There are tabs in the wheel wells that the bumper cover is screwed into, is all of that lined up right? Has the car been in a wreck before?

 

i understand where you are coming from but when he starts commenting on someones mom over the internet thats bs. but any way it seems like the bumper hangs about a half inch below the corner lights as opposed to being perfectly flush. in lines up good with the hood but for some reason its slightly off right underneath the corner light section where the thin bumper molding is.

 

mess around with the tabs that are under the corner lights... that should help some... and dont take anybody on HT seriously... itll make life easier
