crx targa top is it possible?
I see a yellow one around here from time to time that looks like the guy just hacked his roof off. Doesn't look too bad... but its obviously not safe
....Probably the best you could do to see what it'll look like, is with photoshop

I have seen pictures of one that I really liked quite a while back it was blue i think and had a nice roll cage to keep everything stiff. Im trying to find the pic but no luck yet, others may remember this. One day I hope to complete this mod along with the 3,352 mods I have planned.
You must reinforce the car. We cut a targa top out of a CRX for fun and you could see car flex. You must put in some good reinforcements otherwise your car will eventually fold in half.

Here is a real picture. Not sure if he ever finished it or not. I was going to attempt this awhile back, but couldn't find a rex. Wasn't about to hack up my hatchie with the new paint.

Believe it or not some of us like the look of the targa crx.
It seems that it may not be optimal to race without having the roof piece on. Personally, I would want to fabricate some sort of quick release mechanism like those found on other targa vehicles.
I know someone has got the picture im thinking of stashed away, I don't know any history of the above CRX but from what I remember it could be the same one with the addition of a roll cage and finished paint.

Yeah I know he put in a full roll cage to brace it, might be the same one.
