Crank pulley hitting tie rod need help
I just bought a 90 civic sedan w/b20 and lowered it but the crank pulley is hitting the tie rod. Any advice what if i change to a ctr pulley would it clear anybody else ever have this problem. Any help thanks
You mean the radius rod? The tie rod is nowhere near the crank pulley. Regardless, one thing that might work would be to shim the crossmember down a little.

The problem (although maybe not worth worrying about) is that the CTR pulley does not have a harmonic balancer. It could lead to early bearing wear.
It wouldn't be that hard to fabricate "bent" radius rods and I'm thinking of making up some for a friend that has a similar problem.
I'd prefer to just have a fabrication shop make them up and sell them, and that leads to the question I've got.
How much would you be willing to pay for a pair??

Is there also a way to get it Harmonicly balenced?
I will try to get up pics but the pulley carved through half of the rod already.
