i think they are pretty cool. i used to have the black ones when i had 18"rims before. kyokugen lug nuts are light weight and they have a special hex lock i think. hope this helps

I have a set.
I also say they are too expensive for what they are.. and quality of the lugnut key/wrench has been an issue at times here.
I just bought a second set of lugnuts and I actually bought Gorilla ones they look like MacGuard lugnuts.. splinedrive style.
I saved $25 by getting these instead of Kyokugens too...
And both sets I have are black.
Go Gorilla or Macguard unless you need the Kyokugens for skunk2 extended wheel lug studs.... blah blah blah

Where would be a good palce to get those Gorilla or MacGuard lugs?
Preferably somewhere online, but your in Rochester, so I'll take a drive if it's a local place. I haven't found those lugs around here, and they get good reviews, so I'd prefer to go with those.

You can order the Gorilla lug nuts from here for $30 bucks.

Here they are on one of my Subzeros.

M12x1.5

You might as well get the 5-lug set. Same price for 4 extra lug nuts.

McGard has fast service! I lost my wheel lock "key" over the weekend, phoned in an order for a replacement on Monday and received it today (Friday)! Only $10 shipped. I was panicking over the weekend because I thought I'd have to torch the locks off and buy a new set.
