im gettin a blox intake mani for my gsr motor. they have the one for the gsr and the type r. whats the difference? i thought the point of getting the mani was to eliminate what makes it a gsr mani (dual butterflies, iacv, etc) does it have to do with ports? im going to be running a kenji p28 type r program... so let me know im stumped!

you need the one for the gsr. The GSR and ITR intake ports and bolt hole patterns are not compatable.

do you know why the ones for gsr's are always so much more $$?

 

I couldnt answer that one for ya, I have a b16 head on my set up so I've never priced any GSR IM's. I'd price around on Ebay and some of the sponsors classifieds and web sites here on H-T, they usually have the best prices around.
