any suggestions on a new clutch?
im looking for a new clutch and lightned flywheel for a 95 d16z6 motor, i am gonna turbo it in the near future, nothing crazy since i drive it 80 miles a day, just want a stronger clutch that can handle the turbo but not a hard clutch pedal, mtd, exeddy, centerforce, etc? and i want a flywheel thats good for off the line speed, any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

exedy organic!
exedy organic!
I had an action 1MD in my 99 si - HATED IT! Solid disk clutch is a bear on the street. Miserable - I believe my prolite flywheel made it worse, but I would reccommend something with a sprung disk.
I am running an exedy 4-puck sprung disk with heavy-duty pressure plate in my (stock) 97 lx w/ d16y7. It is a good balance of grab and streetability if you are looking to go turbo, which I am as well. If I ever get another clutch, it will be an organic disk - to keep from jerking my passengers back and forth all over the place. Comfort
