Honda Civic Coupe 1.6i LS Help! leak! help please!
Ive just bought the above car off my brother, he said there was a small leak in the boot / trunk for you americans. Well i took the spare wheel out and erm. there might aswell be fish in there.
Any ideas where my leaks from? or how i can find it? or even fix it!

Remove your taillights and replace that foam gasket.
Check http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or http://www.slhonda.com but you might want to check if they ship international (from the sound of it). If they don't you may want to check junkyards and possibly double up on gaskets.
edit: some people trace the gasket and go and buy some foam/rubber at a craft store and use that as a new gasket.

i found out something very interesting the other day.
my trunk has never leaked before i will start with that.
i decided to put a sound system in the car, 1 12" sub
to stop a "trunk rattle" i unskrewed the little rubber stops on the trunk a couple turns, now this worked wonders for the rattle, but man did my trunk start leaking.
so you may wanna check ou the rubber stops on the trunk, try tightening them up just a tad, so the trunk sits tight on the weather stripping.
