Default Help putting on lower rear tie bar..

i'm having a bitch of a time putting back the LCA bolts. No matter what I try to do, it just won't go in because not everything is aligned. How do you guys do it?

It is pain! been there, done that!! It takes lots of patience and lots of strength if you are doing it by yourself. I had to lay under the car and with one hand push the control arm up and with the other put them bolt in place. Again, it requires lots of stregth since the shock will be pushing down. It took me about 2 hrs. for both side by myself. I recommned having a friend help you.

take one bolt out at a time

For me it took two people. I forget what we ended up doing but I had to push (I believe on the tires) to get it to move just right. The sway bar was twisting it weird.

Hang in there dude, you'll get it.

Yes I have been there. Under the car for hours trying to get it in. I believe there is a trick to this. Do one side at a time. The wheel has to stay on. Just put the bolt in as far as it can go. Then SLOWLY lower your car a little at a time. After each time it goes down, try the bolt. That is how I did it.
