Default exhaust problem

I have a RS*R exmag and i took the car out and down shifted from fourth to third about 15 times . after i did that the exhaust sounded diffrent from when i first bought it. the exhaust is raspy and louder, and the catalyic converter is making a raspy shaking noise also. i was wondering if the exhaust has broken or if i need a new catalyic.
If i need a new cat which high fowing cat should i get?

thanks in Advance!

Default Re: exhaust problem (blackE_T)

New exhausts always sound better new..After the break in the sound changes a little..Maybe its the heatsheild on the cat that's making that rattling noise,,

And if you do need a new high flow cat I recomend dynomax..I got mine from jegs for $60
