how many del sol's out there run 11.99 or faster in full street trim?
i'm just trying to get an idea of where i'm at in the world. since del sol's are the red headed step child of the honda family.

when i say street, i mean you drive it every day, full interior. it's driven to the track and driven home.

i drive my car 1000 miles a week.

on street tires ???? impossible whatever you have.

my best ET is 11.8 @ 118.5, but noone got the full run on video
the fastest i have on video is 11.9 @ 118.9
and my fastest trap is 12.1 @ 120.9
fastest street tires is 12.6 @ 117 215-50-15 BFG's
-only made 2 passes on them. i can get better.

this is all on 22" slicks

the del sol, when it was running low 11s, i saw it at the shopping mall - so i guess he drives it around.

yeah i knew of him, he's into the 10's. other then his, and 2 others. i dont know of any others that have broke into the 11's.

my manifold and everything is all custom. the setup itself isn't all that expensive compared to other people's setup. especially if you do it yourself.

does he have any track times? if not, then it's not the fastest. all the power in the world means nothing if you cant use it, or drive.
not saying he can't. it's a badass setup. i'd just like to see what he's done with it, rather then make dyno pulls

 

have we all forgot about a certain utah racer named Jasen Penman? I believe he is the fastest by far.

Penmans Car ran a 9.69@154. As far as i know he hasn't sold it yet. I would definitely look for him next up coming season. And yes it is street driven.

i saw the white del sol run at fontana, unfortunately i have to say it didnt run well, driving trouble and misfiring dyno numbers are one thing but getting the car down the track is different.
