Who all is coming up/down this weekend?

 

as of now from what i know... i'll be there along with charles walker...cft, james/john, jose rodriguez, and a few other locals.. im sure smokey2.0 will be there trying to crack 11's a/m

what class smokey? Are rotories allowed in the all motor class?

good luck this year in all motor luis... if otis doesnt show up this time you have a good chance of getting first...funny last year i came in 3rd all motor behind you..now im making like 450hp more than i was then..amazing what happens in a years time...

I made it down for test and tune, but I couldn't make it today. I had sooo many things to do around the house. Best time Friday night was 11.31@131. I am still getting used to the new setup, and I did not get one decent launch. 10's will definatley be in the near future. How did everyone else do?

 

the track was trash...they didnt prep the track all day...
john ferguson won quick 16..good job guys car went 9.90@154 in the morning and went 150 most of the day in the low 10's

jose didnt make it to thee finals cause of a broken water pump

charles walker was running 10.50's@143 and blew off an intercooler pipe against john in the semi's

jose got lucky in the semi's and beat a 3/4 chassis datsun that was running 9.0's most of the day...it got a bad launch and went sideways..

a red mr2 won the street tire class..went 10.17@140 on mt streets

blue 3rd gen rx7 from twilite perf. won the outlaw class

a toyota pickup was running 11.0's@131 on radial tires awd

the car went 11.3@138 on like 24psi on friday....

nah this is a different one,that mr2 @ sfp is badass though,hre's with 315s in the back yum!!

gotta love moroso - no matter what event is going on there they always seem to have a great turnout

and for the payout - this one day of fun and success equals 2 ndra event wins as far as moolah and they even had a healthy payout down to the semifinalists

track wasn't that great as the day went on - first round this morning was prepped well - but i don't recall them ever prepping it again after the rounds began - the tires took a beating today

good to see the usual bunch there again, always fun to come down to south florida and race
