Default D15B1 Help

On the D15B1 DPFI I was reading in a previous thread that there is a restrictor plate. I think it may be somewhere located in the toilet bowl looking thig above my intake manifold. Is it that mesh filter thing I see? I wanna remove that restrictor plate so if anyone knows how please tell me with well depicted instructions and pics if its to much to ask...
-Thanks!

sorry i dont have any pics to provide you with but it is the gold plate that the air would hit first after entering the "toilet bowl". i believe it is held down by one or two phillip-head screws.

Waste of time..Removing that thing just makes your intake sound a little louder and you'll most likely lose gas mileage...Do the mpfi conversion

do the mpfi conversion.....do it yourself especially and all the chicks and ladies will be at your feet ....you will drop about 1.5 -2 seconds of the 1/4 mile with the mpfi swap I,H,E and the si cam.
