Do you ever plan on getting any headwork done? If you are planning on going NA you may as well get it for a good price now, as opposed to later on for MSRP.
I've actually heard people lossing hp with a Skunk2 intake manifold and just I/H/E. But you will get a good gain with cams though and some headwork.
aw damn. So i'm gonna LOSE power with the setup i have right now? That sucks. I dont know when I'll get cams, but I do know it won't be soon...
So should i just hold back? I dont want to waste the money i have right now to LOSE power...
but in some sites i visited, it said that the Skunk2 Intake Manifold gave gains from 8-12wHP in records.

I can't remember the site but its the one with 2573509 dynoes I remember looking at them. On a stock gsr switching to the skunk2 IM you WILL lose low end power but should make up a few ponie up top. With I/H/E I think there is sufficient airflow that opening up the IM would help, but this is also going to hurt the off iddle response so its a trade off. IMO if you can get him down to 200 buy it

your gonna lose power with it b/c its single runner and not dual that the stock gsr has, thats a given, why not get a b16 head and have it worked on instead? and then get the manifold?

if u get your ecu chipped
or a R ecu, u won't lose anything, but gain!
only problem is you lose power because nothing controls the secondaaries,
or u can get a vtec controller of some sort

Man! The glue beads on that manifold look top notch! That's unbeatable craftsmanship! How much does this manfifold cost? Do I hear group buy? If so than I'm in for sure!

If you have stock internals you WILL lose some low-end power. You will gain some top end power though. Its just basically compensating. You're shifting your power higher in the powerband with it.
hmmm. Thanks for the info. I'll pass on it then. Although I like top end alot, i don't want to lose more low end...
And that honky manifold looks SWEET!

i just met up with my friend. I saw it and its BRAND new with the box/manual and EVERYTHING! I told him I was gonna pass up, but if you guys wanna buy a BRAND new Skunk2 Intake Manifold.... let me know and I'll tell him about it...
He called me up today and told me that the Intake Manifold will give me low end gains. Is that true? That's TOTALLY different from what you guys are saying...
But then again... he might be saying that to convince me to buy it.
As for people wanting to buy it.... he doesn't want to ship out the item. He wants to just sell it in person...
so if you guys wanna buy it... i guess you gotta live in the Bay Area...

I had it on my B18c head and it was fine. You will bog down low with the P72 ecu since it's for a duel intake manifold. I used the ITR ecu and it pulled like a motha. Big difference with the worng ecu.
They retail for $330ish
