? on h22a........

i was reading on h22a...i read that the prelude automatic motor is 20hp less then a manual motor...is it true????also, if true is there any markings on the motor to tell when you purchase one...?

It's 5 hp on the 97+ H22s. The motor is identical... It's the tuning of the ecu that causes the difference.

Uhhhh, are you refering to wheel hp? Because, there is more hp lost in the automatic trans than in the manual trans between the flywheel and the drive shafts.....
