Default b16 install; need some help!

Well the b16a swap is almost complete, but im getting hung up on a few things. i was not the one who uninstalled a lot of these things so i dont know where they originally went! i need some help on what a few things are and where they go..

first, i have this cable. seems to be a speed type of cable where the heck does it go on the b16a?

.. then i was hooking up all the harness's and came to realize the plug from the injectors on the engine doesnt fit the one on the car?

and finally for now, ive been looking at some pictures and see that some b16a's dont have this, do i need it?

... followed by, well we got a new shift linkage with the engine from hmotors, and i dont know how to put it back together ... ugh
the old bushing doesnt fit in this..

goes on the backside of the tranny, should have a little clip that holds it in there on the cleaner part like this

with the cover over it

you don't need to connect anything to that. i forget what went to that in the original car, but i never had it connected to anything on my b16

For that bushing,I got the energy-suspension one for
84-87 CRX also 90-91 Integra at pep-boys and it was the same..
16-1101GC was the part number..

I think the reason the cannon plug doesn't fit is because you are trying to use the fuel rail that came on the b16. You need to use the original d15 fuel rail on the b16 and everything should plug right up.

Fuel rail has nothing to do with it, its the engine wiring harness. If I can remember correctly , you can not use the sir harness because the plugs are different.

The main big plugs should not fit, atleast one. And thats your problem.

I'm telling you when you do a b16 swap, you are never suppose to use the sir harness cause of this reason.

ok so we solved the cannon plug problem, i need to swap out the sir harness for the civic one. how about the other questions, our VSS is electronic. it is a Y1 LSD tranny.. the VSS has a plug ontop of it, it doesnt look like the other ones that the guy above has.

can i remove the thing that goes on the throttle??

Yes you can remove it. It's called a dashpot, just smooths out the engine as it drops out of driving RPM. I have mine off too.

You need to find a 90-93 Integra cable VSS, one from a JDM J1/S1 will work too. Hang onto that electronic one, you may decide to put in a 92+ guage cluster, which requires an electronic VSS>
