Ecu wiring double check
i am going to wire up my b16a1 obd0 into my 90 civic Si, i just need to make sure i am going to do this right.
i dont need to take out the pins in the back of the clip that goes into the ECU i just need to cut it and but connect it with the wires i ran for vtec and so forth. is this right if not can someone help me out???

I feel the better way is to push the orginal pins out (specail tool) and add your supplement wiring with new ends.
Many people just clip old, butt connect the new wires, and tap off old wires not leading anywhere.
Some of the locations are going to be empty in the current ECU, so you will need some clips to have something to push in.

what is the easiest way to get them out without messing stuff up??? and do i keep the wire (if any) that were in the plug in with the but connector??
