will automatic axles interchange with manual

picking up an automatic 90 4 door civic parts car and just want to make sure the axles will work on my 89 4 door 5 speed. if i am wrong, please let me know. thanks

Yes they do interchange, all efs have the same part number except AWD wagons.

No they won't actually...take it from someone who did a auto to manual swap. Get some 5spd axles.

Wanna bet on it? Ive done two auto to manual swaps and they used the same axles.

I do wanna bet...I worked at Partsource, our part numbers were different. My automatic shafts did not work in my hatch, I had to get Si driveshafts.

Maybe you were looking at STD/HF vs DX/LX/EX/Si axles.
