Can someone tell me what to do? When I back up, my car makes a noise like a bellow or like air going out of an accordian. I have 35000 miles. Is this under warranty?

 

Warranty is 36,000 miles. So don't wait too long. You would like to have a little time left on the warranty after the repair.

 

have u checked brake pads??? if they are ok take to dealer ASAP........warranty runs out soon

your rear pads are probably on the wear indicator, they are designed to make that noise to let you know of a low brake condition. 35k is about the norm i see on the rears for the 03's and up.

 

I sure hope my pads won't need to be changed after only 35k miles. You must be kidding, right?

 

I had a 30,000 mile check. Shouldn't that have taken care of brake wear?

The pads aren't they are normal wear items. I don't think they should be worn out in only 35k miles though. Especially the rear. All the stopping power is in the front. If the rear pads are worn already, something must be wrong with the calliper or e-brake.
