Default master cylinder and booster question

i have a 91 crx and I was wondering if anyone has different combo of mc and booster. Such integra or other honda combos. Im not sure but I read some where that a mc and booster from a integra rs will fit but I don't know the year. If anyone has any type of info that can help it would be greatly appreciated

I used a 90-93 non-ABS MC/BB in my CRX, works like a charm!

I'm still working with the HF mc/BB **** with a B16a! hehehe...I have to mash the pedal to the floor to get response...My calipers/rotors/axels are off a 93 Gs-r. I just clipped the Abs **** that was on it. (the wire anyway. I have huge rotors and Calipers....but the MC/BB isfucked....
Bump b/c i'm interested in fixing the MC.BB setup in my hf.

Default good brakes!!

Second gen integra parts definitly fit, I've got an 89 hf with a b16 and a complete 92 integ brake setup. Me and my homie put the front brake setup on for the larger rotors but then the dinkey crx couldn't put out enough pressure for them so we tried the brake booster and master cylinder and it ended up stopping hard enough to snap the camber kit we installed! Oh yeah the rear setup will fit too. . . . . And the only reason I wouldn't recommend it is if you have cheap tires

Best bet is the integra 90-93 brake booster non abs!!!! if you get the abs style it will create problems due to the fact that pushrod extends past the face of the brake booster and will slowly lock up your brakes. (fourthgenhatch.com) has a good write up on how to do the swap to 4 gen civics. Make sure you get the proportioning valve with the swap though. As far as the front is concerned the integra set up will work also, wether or not you use the LCA's with that is up to you. I heard it messes with alignment but others say that it doesn't. This swap is great even though you add a little extra weight with the disc set up. All around braking performance is improved.

Didn't swap my booster, but I put in a MC from an 88 Prelude 2.0Si. I have a full write up on the job with pics if you are interested. It doesn't make a huge difference, but there is a little less pedal travel. I did it as a replacement to my leaking stock MC. I have a friend with the same setup on his EF hatch, the only difference being Hawk HP pads. The pads make a huge difference IMO.

fade usually is the mc going out. If the mc has been leaking for while the bb will eventually go out . Brake fluid will cause the seal swell and leak.

heres trick to bleeding brakes that I find helpfull. fill an empty plastic bottle of gatorade largest one u can find. Make sure its clean, fill it with about 12 oz of brake fluid. new or used as long as its not contaminated with water. On the cap drill a hole so that a Small hose can fit thru. make sure that the hose will fit snug on the caliper nipple(bleeder), on that same cap drill another hole the size of a ball point pen tip this releases the pressure. Note be carefull that hose is submerged in the fluid if not it will not work. Break the bleeder and after its all done begin pumping the brakes slowly. Do not step on the pedal all the way to the floor. One person is all its needed. this way u don't have to **** anyone off by asking them to help.
