i think this was a factory option in '00, correct me if im wrong? If so, where is the cheapest place i can get it? Has anyone purchased it directly from Acura? I dont want anything really nice, i just want the OEM keyless entry, theft is not a problem here, so not worried about an alarm.

Don't bother. seriously those are soooooooo darn expensive!!
besides, i thought i heard a few people saying those things malfunction or dont end up working properly.
just go out and get a nice keyless entry system put in from a car audio/security shop. probably a fraction of the cost (if not LESS)

 

My friend has one on a `94 LS and it's been on there since he bought it back in `94...and no problems..

 

I don't know anyone who's had problems with it, but it's a lot cheaper if you get an aftermarket one.

 

just get an alarm.. then u get keyless entry, starter kill, and even tho ur not concerned about theft.. u never kno.. bettah be safe than sorry.. you can always put it in valet mode and not use the alarm portion and still have keyless haah...

 

i got keyless/alarm (without alarm horn) from 94 GSR and still works flawlessly
