redline...

i just 4recently bought a 1990 civic hatch CX, i searched but wa sunable to find the redline, i nee dit to set on my tach, im pretty sur eits 65. please let me know if im right thanks.

the redline for you motor is 6800rpm, on the gauge cluster if you have a tach redline starts at 6500 but its really at 6800

Ive got a 91 EF sedan. And mine reads 6800rpm at redline. Anyone know when cut out is?.. or if it has a cutout....

im lookin in my crystal ball and.........WAIT........THERES A PISTON WITH A VALVE STUCK IN IT IN MY CRSTAL BALL..........stay with 6.5 or it will most likely blow

I have only heard of the CX on the 92 and up models... For our years, I have only heard of the regular, DX, and Si.

CX is the same as the STD. The CX was available in Canada only. I have a 1988 CX myself.
