Im looking to get a set for my civic. Has anyone bought the aftermarket ones from passwordjdm? I am wondering how good the fitament is on them.

http://passwordjdm.com/product...D=253

Any information you could give me I would appreciate it.

They will be going on this

Thanks

i think they paint those with this:

I have some OEMs coming soon and i have a can of Vans yellow foglight paint. As soon as i get it painted i'll post up pictures to see if it looks the same. 8)

EDIT: btw...lovely taffy white coupe!! 8)

yeah i was wondering the same thing. the stock switch in dark grey is no longer made by honda (sucks for EM1 owners like me). however, if you have the light grey interior, go here: http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext00.html you can get real OEM foglights for cheaper than the passwordJDM ones...

if you need a dark grey switch, people are selling them, ive seen em for sale for like $35...

but yeah if anyone has any pics of the password setup and especially the switch on their own car, post it up i'd like to see it

Ive have bought 3 set for me and my friends and there oem fitment and everything is just buying a oem foglamp, wiring and button down to the clips. Passwordjdm has always done the best in products and leo is a great guy to deal with. Ive done the whole oem fog with the paint and its not even worth it.

well, then you can just get OEM, it's cheaper...

the reason i'd go with password is just for the switch, dont want to save 20 bucks on the set but then have to go pay 30 bucks for a dark switch

with the honda discount, you can buy oem fogs for 125, and for like 10 bucks more you can get the oem fog light switch, thats what i bought. You have to be able to get the honda discount, i have a friend that works there so i get the hook up.

I bought the Password fogs for my EM1 and installed them myself. Fitment is very good and they look great . My only complaint is the wiring I like having a neat engine bay and with this kit you must run a main power directly from the battery. I do plan on eliminating this as soon as I can also the kit does not use the factory harness it does its on thing. So if you like a wireless engine bay then go factory if not get this kit. If anyone has any info on how to wire this kit up without the battery wire please inform me.

Hey man...my boy just bought a set of the "knockoff" jdm 99-00 civic fogs from password and I installed them for him...Although I am not on my cpu right now, if you want to see pics of them on, I am talking about turned on, and a vid of them coming down the road, AIM cj355 and tell him that Trock1029 from H-T told you to tell him to send you the pics and vid. If you dont have aim, email him at cj355@hotmail.com and let him know I told you so! He will be more than happy to do it I am sure! If you have any questions about the install or how they look, feel free to pm me on here, aim me at Durham1085, or email me at Durham1029@yahoo.com.
For about half the cost of the "true" jdm fogs, I think they are a great deal. You get everything you will need to install them and I mean everything. Unless you HAVE to have the "true" jdm fogs, then you can spend the $250-400 for them thats up to you...but like I said, I think for half the cost its the "best bang for the buck" as far as knockoff jdm fogs...Let me know if you need anything!
As far as the switch goes, ask him if he will snap a pic of the switch installed in the car for you...I personally think it look very stock and it even lights up JDM AMBER!

PasswordJDM gave out their own instructions in pdf in their foglights thread... I thought the main power you have to go to a harness underneath the dash if I'm not mistaken
