Anyone know the volume of the container??

 

US : 2.6 Quarts (2.5L)
Canadian: 4.8 Quarts (4.5L)

 

all i know is that thing full weighs a lot. Drain it or just pull the whole thing out.

 

That can't be right. My washer tank has been bone dry since about November because I only use water and didn't want it freezing up. The other day I just poured a gallon of water into it and it still didn't fill it all the way up.

 

I can only fill mine up with like 2/3 a gallon of washer fluid. I guess if i got rid of it i can save like 8 lbs. total. The resivoir itself aint that heavy,liek 2 lbs. Its just plastic.

Those are the specs that the Acura Integra manual give. Where are you from? 4 quarts=1 gallon.....just checking.

 

My car was originally bought in Memphis, so it's def. a USDM car. Just the other day I filled up a pitcher w/ water and poured it in there....

*wait* I was thinking I used a different pitcher, the one I used may indeed have been 2 quarts... I'll have to check, because I know I have a 4-qt. pitcher, but that's the one I keep lemonade in.

i wanna use my resivoir for holding the water for water injection

 

You'll have to drain it and not be able to use it during winter, though.

 

in the winter, all i have to do is add 25% rubbing alcohol
