I recently bought a CDN ITR with a JDM front and when I tried to register at the DMV they thought me I needed an emission label. Is this something I can get from the dealer or do I need to get it from an OEM hood? Any info would be greatly appreciate.

 

I am pretty sure you can buy the sticker from the dealer. If you have trouble, I would talk to a body shop. I know for a fact that body shops are able to get these stickers.

Don't you have to get it from a ref or the state patrol?

 

The DMV told me to call the number on the owners manual or go to the dealer.

 

go to the dealer and they can order one off of your VIN. i think its no more than $10 and you're allowed to buy 2 a year. i have a friend who works at a dealership and gave me this info

i was going to do this when i got a CF hood so when i went to smog i would have no problems.
