Default new to the accords have some ?

hey guys having to sell my turbo civic want to buy an accord wife and I had a baby. I am looking at buying a 94-97 and putting a turbo on it. First I was wondering if the v6 comes in a 5spd, second is the sleeves on the v6 strong like the f22. how much boost on stock sleeves 4 cylinder or 6 with a t3t4 tuned, benefits of either motor/down falls as well. Thats all for now thanks

Toss the V6 right out the window if you are going 5th or 6th gen. If you are going 7th make sure it has the 6 speed tranny. You are looking for a 5th gen so I would say go for the 4 cyl 5 speed as the V6 is auto only. Also, the F22 can handle some good boost on the stock sleeves, the ringlands are the problem and will start to limit you when you get around double digit psi.

the 5th gen v6 is the C27.

now dont get all excited. some people see the C series motor, and they autmoatically think...OHH NSX MOTOR....couldnt be further from the truth. honda put the c27 into the accord for one reason: to compete with the V6 camry and taurus, etc on paper. the I4 5th gen actually has better 0-60 and 1/4mile times........

i suggest a 95 EX 4door. if you can find one without rust along the rear quarter panels, you definantly have a winner
