Default Edelbrock or Skunk2

I have an all motor d16 and I want to get an aftermarket intake. I am thinking about the new performer-x from Edelbrock, but the Skunk2 may be just as good and it looks more like a stock manifold. Does any one have any advice? Also are there any issues with clerance? I have an 88 civic. Thanks

Eric

Id just go for a skunk2, those jg/edelbrock manifolds are for use in astronomical rpm ranges.

the performer x is not used in higer rpm range. i have one on my car and i was very pleased with it. search "spade" he did a huge write up on it or get hold of marauder they have experience with it and know what they are talking bout.

What led you to believe the performer x was used in 'astronomical rpm ranges' ?

From what ive seen the runners are quite long, not exactly thick nor thin, and the plenum not a turbo/venom style.
