hellllllllp
i put my springs on today (tein springs) and whenever i turn the steering wheel i hear something in the wheel clicking like its hitting something. i had my friend look at it while i moved the steering wheel and he told me that the spring is moving.....i'm jus wondering if this is ok and if it pop into place as i drive.
when i first installed my springs you hear a creeking sound when u turn the steering wheel. its just the springs breaking in, give it some time and the noise will go away or you might've forgotten to tighten down something check all the bolts and make sure everything torque'd to specs
You probably didn't install the springs correctly. Springs are easy to install but also very easy to mess up on those cars. Pay attention to the arrow alignments on the tophats and make sure the top bushings are seated correctly.
Decent quality lowering springs don't make noises if put in correctly.
