Question about ignitions.

Question about ignitions.
I'm very curious to know if an ignition module from a newer Civic ('01+ EP) or a newer Accord would some how work in our EG cars. The reason I ask, is because I know these are designed to make theft harder to achieve. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks.
