Default interior lights don't work

any help would be greatly appreciated. when i turn on my headlights at night, only my cluster and climate control lights up, but these two areas don't. anyone have any idea how to make these two light up? i tired switching out the buttoms completely, but that still doesn't fix the problem.

Did you wire anything recently? All fuses are ok?

well, they worked fine until i got my alarm installed. i don't know what they did! i checked all the fuses and none were burned out. if one of the fuses were out, then my cluster and climate wouldn't light up.. right?

It seems odd that both those lights would go out at the same time. I'm guessing it's a fuse some where.

i've checked the bulbs. it's got to be something else that caused both of those to go out.. also, my hazards dont light up as well.

The hazard switch doesn't light up (yes, it does light up) or they don't work?

if you had a shop install the alarm take it back to them and tell them they messed something up, they should fix it for free, or at least check it out

I don't think a clock could cause those lights to be out.

it works, but it doesn't light up when i turn on my headlights. **** that shop, everytime i go back, they mess something else up.

i bought my alarm there and they since my speakers are stock and on it's way out, they offered to hook me up with a set of alpine type S speakers. on the way home, the speakers sounded reallly shitty. i popped the speaker covers off, and there were holes in my speakers. i took it back 5 minutes later and they said must've been the installer's fault. they offered to fix it. so they swapped out the right speaker, but didn't swap out the left one. i came back and complained how many times i gotta go back for them to make things right? they said this is the last time. they swap out thel left speaker, and things seem to be fine, except my door panels are scratched up and it rattles a lot when i turn my music up. a few weeks later, the alarm craps out. lock, unlock no longer works on the left door and it makes a buzzing sound everytime i arm/disarm it. then the alarm would go off ALL THE DAMN TIME randomly.

Totally off topic.. You need to either start doing this stuff on your own, or find a reliable shop.

I'm stumped on your problems.

I'll sleep on it, and ask around. There has to be some logical explanation for this. I would recheck ALL the fuses.

I remember, a while back on my car my turn signals wound't work, and my CEL, trunk lid, e-brake dashlights wouldn't light up. It turned out to be the most off the wall never-think-to-check-it fuse.

oh ok, thanks man. i was thinking the "interior lights" fuse would be the one, but when i check it, it was fine. i was thinking if it did go out, wouldn't all my interior lights not go on at all? anyways, at least the buttons work, but DAMN!! i'm liek a perfectionist lol

Correct, the dimmer swithc does not light up. However, the rear defrost does.
