Default I need some advice about seatbelts

Ive got a dilemma.

I just bought a 89 CRX Si. It is supposed to have door-mounted seatbelts. The previous owner got the doors stolen off of the car and he replaced them with doors that do not have seatbelts mounted to them, so right now I have no seatbelts in the car. I do not want to have to buy new doors for it because the previous owner took the time to find yellow doors that are the same color as the car, and they match pretty well.

What are my options? I really dont want to use a racing harness, is there a way to install the door-mounted seatbelts into my doors or would it be better to figure out a way to install the b-pillar mounted seatbelts? If I have to use harnesses I will, but they are a pain in the butt to get in and out of so I would rather not. Thanks for your advice.

as far as i know, there is no way to retrofit the door mounted seat belts to the doors. i think the path of least resistance is to get a harness or 2. either that or start looking for other door(s) and get them painted.

and dont drive without a seatbelt. the time you dont have one is the time youll need it.

Junkyard it and mount some to the pillars. There's a writeup on here somewhere.

Dont worry, Im not driving it until I get seatbelts for it. Its in the garage staying nice and warm currently, its also got a leaky rear-hatch so I gotta tend to that.

I did a search and have looked around on here and I havent seen a write-up on installing b-pillar mounted seatbelts. Ive looked around online and havent seen anything either. If someone could link me to that write-up I would love them forever.

Another seatbelt related question: Ive been looking at harnesses and I cant find a support bar for them for sale anywhere, would it be ok to get a very solid rear strut tower bar and use that as the support bar for the harnesses? I really dont have the funds right now to buy a cage, although right now thats looking like it might be the only option. If anyone could give me some advice as to what to get I would really appreciate it.

You can not use a strut tower bar to depend on your life. So please don't try that.
Check in the archived sections for ef's. Maybe in a how-to section.
Maybe try 4thgenerationcivic.com as well.
