First time out with my fuji f10, i know i need help!!!

i have always wanted those badass night shots, i wish i had a tripod!
the last one is my favortie, i tried overexposure and all sorts of stuff i read about. I know i need a tripod for sure now!!! but anyways any help or input would be nice!

When dealing with such a dark color, you might want to try shooting with the light hitting the car on the same side you're shooting. If it's coming from the other side of the car, you're going to lose all the detail of the cars lines. Pick a spot with more available light to learn from (I prefer white lights). Maybe an underground parking lot, or practice at a gas station. Also, try it with the headlights off in the beginning.
You can see in this pic, the car you're shooting is very dark and not many details are coming through. But the car and truck in the driveway are showing more details, because the light is shining on them.

good advice, was about to say the same thing, its all about the lighting and how you use it

definitely need some practice. just keep it up i guess. you'll figure it out one way or the other.
you have the right idea, just the lighting is totally wrong. you can use a tripod all night if you want, but it wont help those pictures. all you need to help them is lighting as said before.
lighting can kill, or make an amazing picture.
