Default air bag suspension questions (its not what you think)

ok, i think that airbag suspensions is gay and i would never fuc k a car up by putting that stuff on a car.

but i am working on some crazy ideas for something altogether unrelated to cars. and i think that airbags may help in this situation

the question is, how much weight does the average air bag kit add?

including the compressor and the bags and whatever else it consists of.

again, i am not asking becuase i want some bling mobile, this is just a general knowledge kind of thing

and i have searched online, but what all do these kits need.

it appears that there are the airbags themselves, the compressor, electronic switches and whatnot, and what else?

does it need an airtank?

bags, lines, valves, air tank, check valve, compressor, pressure switch, switch box.

You can add more to the basic system but the above list is all needed for it to work properly. If you have more questions go to streetsourcemag.com.

By the way Subaru makes a racing AIR suspension.

I disagree.

Half of the nit-wits in the Appearance/Cosmetic forum should be using air bags or cylinders instead of a conventional coilover setup because they seem to want to ride around so low. Air suspension is a much better solution for those who want the look of a retardedly low ride height.
