my car is idleing at 3000 rpm some times it will drop to 2500 or sometimes it will surge from 1000 to 2000 rpm. no cels any ideas whats wrong.

 

Vaccum leak.
Cold idle set too high.

You left this very blank, computer throwing codes? What kind of motor?

 

well i took off the iacv and its clean so i moved on to the fast idle valve and sure enough the thing on the inside unscrewed it self. it was just moving around freely in there so i cleaned it and screwed it all the way back in. now im idleing perfectly.
