Default bent shifter...best thing i ever did

1st and 2nd are crazy short.. not too sure on how good it is for the tranny...but O'well


let me know what you think.. either way it's kool..

P.S. Skunk2 dual bend is a biatch!!!!!!! and half to heat up and hammer the hell out of

uhh I dont see the benefit...like short dist between gears but I think its a lil aqward looking and IF it is bad for the trany would it be worth it?

actually from driving the car with the shifter before i bent it wasnt as short in throws as it is form being bent now. from what i feel. and the shift **** is pretty comfortable. especially in the winter time, feels better then the. gsr,mugen,spoon,and any other shifter's iv ever had

It doesn't appear to be of any benefit. Besides, it looks like ergonomics would be severely affected.

I agree.....the only way to chang the shift throws is to increase the length of the shifter rod below the shifting axis (under the car) what you did definently did not make a shorter throw.

your imputs of your change being shorter shifts are wrong. just because you bend the shifter its not gonna make the throws any different. why would you do that?

LMFAO.....what if this was one of those things kinda like the Hood being raised in the rear to where everyone hates it now but 5 to 10 years down the road it became "the thing" to do. That would be crazy. Although i do not like it......for now

my shifter is actually bent like that too, but pointing towards the rear... well on mines i think it was the linkage itself that got bent a lil when we we're dropping in the motor during my swap lol

oh well, got used to it. works fine. looks different

lol....ok mabye it didnt change the throw.. but to me it feels a hell of shorter then what the dual bend was giving. besides..it's more confrotable then the postion of the skunk
