Well, I recently acquired a 93 Del Sol S. I bought it in order to have two cars so one (or the other) could be my daily driver, and one be my weekend/track car. Links to the setup are in my sig.
Here's my coupe:

The Del Sol:

At first I was considering keeping the setup in my coupe because it'd just save me the hassle of having to pull both motors and swap them over. Which would also include getting a coupe teg brackets since it's an eg chassis as well as a del sol vtec linkage. Minor... but still just a hassle. The ricer side of me thinks a built gsr-t turbo del sol would just be pretty bad ***. I've been hearing mixed opinions on having a del sol as a track car and even as a DD. On one hand... a Del Sol daily driver wouldn't be AS practical due to the lack of space. On the other hand, for a track/weekend car... it's harder to make a cage for a del sol (if i even go that far), and the car is heavy and a lot hard to drop weight (if i even go that far).
Well this is starting to sound more like a "which car is cooler to be turbo" thread, but the main reason i posted this in the drag racing section was because I wanted to know how the shorter wheelbase would affect traction, the availability of "drag race" parts, suspension, etc.
Bottom line...
Leave the coupe as is for and use it for my weekend/track car?
OR
Put the setup in the Del Sol and use IT as the weekend/track car?
let me know what you guys think

sorry to say but I think Del sols are just plain gay. (coming from a person who drives a neon...i think that says a lot.)
