Do you guys prefer to leave those covers in, or take them out? Also, mine are kind of junky...does anyone have a nice set of black ones. Maybe I'll make acrylic replacements - I think it'd look kind of neat.

 

How the hell would you make new ones? Let me know if you do I am curious.

cover them in vynil, they look great

 

Basically, I'd cut a large acrylic (or lexan) board the size of the top cover piece, then transfer those little mounting nubs. Heck, if they turn out well, maybe I'll sell them. The part closest to the seats would be harder, but basically the same concept.

 

just take them out - the car looks better without those two pieces in there. it would probably look even better without that console thing behind the seats too, but i haven't taken that out yet so i don't know how that would look. but definately take the other parts out.

 

removing that center piece would make the interior look like poop. I wouldnt suggest taking it out. mines been out for over three months and it looks like butthole. I cant stand it.
